Q: What is vinyl?
A: Crude oil, natural gas, and chloride are the raw materials used in the production of vinyl chloride (PVC) resin. Vinyl compound is formulated from raw materials that include the PVC resin, UV inhibitors, impact modifiers, stabilizers and toners.
Q: What varieties of colors can the vinyl fence come in?
A: We offer six colors in fencing and railing. They are: white, tan, clay, almond, and gray
Q: What is the warranty on your vinyl fencing?
A: All of our vinyl products for property owners carry a transferable lifetime limited warranty. Our warranty for commercial customers (non-living entities) is good for 30 years.
Q: How should I clean the fence?
A: As with all exterior products, our fence will become dirty when exposed to the elements. A mild detergent and water should be sufficient to keep fencing, decking, and railings looking new. For tough stains, simple green, soft scrub, or baking soda work well.
Q: What size wire can I get the chain link mesh in?
A: Chain link fabric comes in a variety of gauges. Gauge is the diameter of the wire: the larger the number the smaller the diameter. We can get them in 6 gauge, 9 gauge, 11 gauge, 11.5 gauge, 12 gauge, 12.5 gauge, and 14 gauge.
Q: What is hot dipped chain link?
A: Hot dipped simply means galvanized steel. It is most commonly used on tips of post and wires used. We can also get wire that has been vinyl coated that provides a color effect.
Q: What colors can I get the vinyl coated chain link in?
A: We can provide brown, black, and green colors
Q: What kinds of wood can be used to build fences?
A: The most common woods used to build a fence are Western Red Cedar, Northern White Cedar, and treated wood.
Q: Can the stained cedar be cleaned off?
A: Yes, if the stain has a brown tint, a trisodium phosphate is best. If the stain has a black tint, an oxalic acid is best.
Q: What about using bleach and water to keep fences clean?
A: Chlorine based or oxygen types are effective against mildew and fungi, so in other words, it can help clean your wood fence.
Q: What colors can you get the Aluminum and Steel in?
A: We have Pearl Black, White, Bronze, Forest Green, Walnut Brown, and Designer Beige.
Q: What is the standard height for a railing made from steel or aluminum?
A: Most countries have their own restrictions on how high a railing can be or needs to be. Most commonly we use a 32” to 36” railing.
Q: What is the difference between aluminum and steel?
A: Other than the fact that they are different metals, they give off the same look effect and are both built to high quality. The steel is a lot heavier of a material, therefore a little bit more expensive.
Q: What heights can I get my fence in?
A: That depends on what type you are going with. We can get anywhere from 32” to 144” high
Q: What will it take to get a quote?
A: All it takes is a phone call! We will come out and quote any job for free. When you call, we will take as much info as possible…but it’s okay if you are not sure what you want. We will bring some ideas to aid you.
